Why Heather Wrote Healthier in 30 Days
One of my favorite things about this book is Heather is exactly like me! Her family went through some health concerns, just like mine. She did tons of research to find healthy solutions her family would embrace, just like me. She said, “I thought we were healthy. We exercised…made sure to eat veggies most days…and made an effort to get an adequate amount of sleep each night. However, we found that we needed to make bigger changes to our overall lifestyle.” These are the same exact thoughts I went through! It’s so awesome to find someone who understands.
So, while she was researching, she realized her family “needed to make these changes slowly so that they would stick and become lifelong habits.” This is the same thing we went through. We made a lot of changes at the beginning. Then, we had to keep slowly adding in more changes as I kept researching.
Heather found out her readers “wanted to figure out how to live healthier while saving time and money. It seemed that I was not the only one facing the same struggle. How do we take practical steps in the hustle and bustle of family life to attain a higher level of healthiness?”
That’s what made her decide, “I wanted to create a product to help anyone who has a deep desire to live a healthier life but feels overwhelmed by the process. I wanted to offer some guidance, support, and encouragement for anyone who doesn’t know where to begin.

My Opinion of Healthier in 30 Days
This is a book I would’ve loved to have had a few years ago when we had to start living heart healthy! I did tons and tons of research, and sometimes was frustrated because it was hard to find just what I needed. Healthier in 30 Days would have been a huge help to me!
Also, even though I’ve done all of that research, I still learned some things from this book that I didn’t know. I learned health benefits of drinking water, new ideas for keeping moving during the day, and new ideas for bedtime snacks.
One of the best parts about this book is Heather encourages you along the way. As you read the book, it’s just like talking with a friend. Any question you might have as you read, she answers. She provides practical information and answers to the questions you’re already asking. Also, just in case you need any additional help or encouragement along the way, Heather is there for you. She gives you a way to get in contact with her so you can get help with whatever you need. I would’ve loved to have had someone to help me through our transition to healthy living!
Another great thing about the book is it’s an editable pdf. Since a lot of us reading the book, are also trying to save money, it’s great that you can just type in the book as you read. It saves money from having to print it out!
I enjoyed reading this book and getting confirmation that I am really on the right path to healthy living. It was a huge encouragement to me and gave me motivation to keep going even though it’s hard some times. Just knowing that someone else is going through the same thing with their family, really means a lot.
Who Is Healthier in 30 Days For?
I think Healthier in 30 Days is just awesome for families trying to live healthy! The easy to understand and implement format of this book is just what a busy mom needs. There are ideas to help with practical things like choosing cereal, snacks for car rides, serving sizes, and tips to grocery shop with kids. These are all things moms wish someone told them, but never did!
I also think this book would be great for anyone who wants/needs to learn how to live healthier. Anyone trying to live healthier needs to know about food labels, lean protein, smart goals, menu plans, portion control, and how to eat more whole grains.
