REDMOND, Ore. — Oregon Agronomics in the Classroom, a nonprofit alignment committed to teaching acceptance about the accent of agronomics and ranching, has kicked off its anniversary Agronomical Articulacy Action with volunteers visiting hundreds of classrooms beyond the state.
Each year, Oregon AITC selects an agriculturally themed book and assignment plan aimed at acceptance in kindergarten through fifth grade. This year’s book, “The Girl Who Thought in Pictures: The Story of Dr. Temple Grandin,” celebrates the accomplishments of the acclaimed beastly scientist and autism activist.
The 2020 Action began on Feb. 19 at Tom McCall Elementary Academy in Redmond.
