On Sunday, we went to church. After that I did laundry and cooked all day. My parents came over for Easter dinner. We had a nice visit with them.
On Monday, it was back to school. I subbed in a kindergarten class I’ve only been in once this year. However, I’m a regular at the school, so the kids were comfortable with me. After school, I went on a walk and then went through my email. After dinner and dishes, I went through my FB groups. I had a lot more I wanted to get done, but since I had to work, I ran out of time.
On Tuesday, I was so grateful to have a guest poster on my blog. It was so easy to plug in her words in a blog post, Saving Money with Target Deals & Target Coupons – Guest Post, and not have to make one up from scratch. After that, I subbed in a first grade class at my son’s school. When one of the girls saw me, she told me she loves it when I sub in her class, and then she gave me a big hug. What a nice way to start my day! After school, I made muffins for the week, made dinner and did dishes. I went through my email and started looking through FB groups, but didn’t get very far.
On Wednesday, I didn’t have a sub job, so I was able to attend the flag ceremony at my son’s school. They had a Trashion Show where kids could make outfits out of recycled materials. They came up with some very creative outfits, like a skirt made out of newspapers and a shirt out of coffee filters. The best part was, 2 of the judges were retired teachers that taught my 2 older kids. It was so nice to see them again! After that, I went on a walk and then went home and looked through the weekly circulars and did some chores. I started to watch a webinar, but it was soon lunch and time to pick up my son. We went to the library and had to pick up some milk and juice at Walmart. I didn’t have room for it earlier in the week in the refrigerator, because of all the Easter meal stuff. Then, I finished watching the webinar, went through email, cooked dinner and did dishes. I went through my FB groups. I hoped to get a lot more done today, but there was just too much to do, I can’t do it all.
On Thursday, I subbed in a third grade class I’ve been in before. I teach math to one class half the day, then I get the class from the next door classroom, and teach them the same math lesson the other half of the day. After school, I went on my walk and did the grocery shopping list. After dinner and dishes, I went through my email. I didn’t have a chance to get anything else done.
On Friday, I didn’t have a sub job, so after I dropped off my son at school, I walked to CVS to pick up a prescription and some Fruit Loops on sale. When I got home, I made dessert. I was going to get a lot of blog stuff done, but the internet was down. It was totally down for an hour and then kept going on and off for the next 3 hours. I managed to get my post written, The Best 10 Heart Healthy Cooking Tips. After picking up my son from school, the internet was finally fully working again. I went through my email, made dinner and did dishes, went through my FB groups and read up on an affiliate program.
On Saturday, I went grocery shopping, cleaned the house, and went to Costco. After all that I looked at email. After dinner and dishes, I finished going through email, practiced the song and videos for interpreting at church and worked on an affiliate program.
How was your week?
